Founding Partner at GestAlt Network, an India based private investment partnership. He has 25+ years’ experience in PE, VC, public markets and investment banking. Since 2012, he has served on the Board of the Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship at IIM, Ahmedabad. Prior to that he oversaw Rothschild Ventures Asia in Singapore and has earlier worked with Standard Chartered and AIG’s PE business. Aru studied electrical and electronics engineering (BE) and Chemistry (MSc) at BITS, Pilani and earned his PGDM (MBA) from IIM, Ahmedabad. He is a Chevening Gurukul Scholar from LSE and a Fellow of the Australia India Institute at the Univ. of Melbourne.
